The Flying Bulls are a private fleet of historic aircraft stationed in Salzburg, Austria, founded in 1999 by Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz. The fleet is based at Hangar-7, an events venue, gallery and museum space built by Red Bull next to Salzburg Airport and completed in 2003, whose 40-metre door was designed to fit the fleet’s largest aircraft, a Douglas DC-6B that once served as the Yugoslav presidential aircraft. The collection includes a Lockheed P-38L Lightning, a North American P-51D Mustang, a Chance Vought F4U Corsair, a North American B-25J Mitchell and the only airworthy Bristol 171 Sycamore in the world.
